5 minutes to mealtime

Any bears out there? I makes jokes about my winter hibernation, but in truth, many of us feel that winter time is the time to reflect ourselves, cozy up with our loved ones and chill. Running to the grocery is not always easy in winter storms, nor do the bears care to go out often in the dark grey sky.

Today is actually a decent day to go out, but of course sometimes the budget calls for creative measures.
One of my needs today is a more primal needed food (to keep my body strong from all the sugar and bread yesterday!)

If you have a few eggs and some leftovers, you can do alot.

Today, I whipped up a quiche which took all of 5 minutes thanks to my cuisinart.

I dont measure much so play with this idea with what you have.

In my fridge is

leftover sauteed onion, green pepper and mushroom

sliced red pepper

sliced raw onion

cheese

5 eggs give or take

sour cream

cream cheese

Easy enough! Grind the cheese, add the veggies and grind some more, add the eggs and cream cheese and sour cream, and pour into the greased le crueset. Bake at 350 until brown.

My camera is broken so using my iphone today. Don't let my picture put you off.

What a totally great lunch today!
